Wanna see the new iGoogle?

July 21, 2008 – 9:03 am

I have been seeing stories about the new iGoogle… how more and more of Google’s services are being integrated more fully, and how Google is increasingly moving in a social direction.

I was under the impression that you had to register as a developer to see the new iGoogle, but embedded in this post from last Friday on the Google System Blog, there is some JavaScript code you can paste into you iGoogle url bar to switch it back and forth… worked for me… check it out:

Google’s Services Converge in the New iGoogle

I am already really liking the idea of not having to switch between iGoogle and gmail… or having to open new windows. Lots more to this, of course, but sometimes it’s the low hanging fruit that tastes the sweetest.
